Toyota is soon going to launch the All-New Toyota Camry Hybrid in India in January 2019. No, it is not a mere facelift only. The New Camry is based on the all-new TNGA platform that gives it more rigidity and good handling characteristic for which the earlier model was not known for. The New Camry has received a lot of Cosmetic Updates and Features.
The Wheelbase of New Camry now stands at 2,825MM which is more than 50MM from the previous version that means more legroom for the passengers. The Dimensions of the New Camry Stands at 4,885MM in Length, 1,840MM in Width and 1,445MM in Height.
Buyers will get the option to choose from the following exterior body colors – Burning Black, Phantom Brown, Graphite Metallic, Attitude Black, Silver Metallic, Premium Red, and Platinum White Pearl.
The Interiors are well laid out and look very plush and upmarket. The layout of the dashboard is typically Toyota, it is Classic but nothing is interesting about the dash that we have not seen in other Toyotas. You get a 7-Inch Touchscreen which is a joy to use with easy controls but the interface is a little outdated now.
On the Dashboard, there is some usage of stitched leather around the center console which adds a premium feel to the interiors. Also, white faux wood panels are used in the interior that looks good. Quality levels have improved from before.
Eight-way powered front seats, leather upholstery, keyless entry and start, rear sunshades, and a multi-info instrument cluster display adds to the comfort of the user.
If we talk about the Mechanical construct, the Engine option would be the same tried and tested 2.5 Liter Petrol In-Line Motor with an electric motor attached putting out a combined output of 211PS of Power with 213NM of Torque. Talking about fuel efficiency, the new car would also be more efficient than before with around 18 KMPL mileage in real-life conditions.
Triple Zone Climate control, Touchscreen Air-Con control, Rear Con Vents, ventilated front seats, Head-up display, nine-speaker JBL sound system, Paddle shifters, Wireless charging are some of the features available to the Thailand version of Camry and these features are also expected to make it to the Indian Version of Camry.
