Suzuki is planning to launch the updated version of the Gixxer 150 and there will also be a Gixxer 250. As they have already launched the fully faired versions of the motorcycles, the Gixxer SF 150 and the Gixxer SF 250.
Mechanically the upcoming Gixxer 150 and the Gixxer 250 will derive their engine from their SF siblings. The Gixxer 150 is expected to be powered by a 154.9cc, air-cooled single-cylinder which is expected to produce 14.6bhp of max power and 14Nm of peak torque. The 250cc sibling is expected to derive the power from a oil cooled, a single cylinder which can have a peak power of 26.5 PS and 22.6 Nm of peak torque. However, being naked the weight of the motorcycle will be less than the fully faired version. That means the upcoming Gixxer will feel a lot peppy and eager.
Speaking about the safety department the 150cc will get a single channel ABS and the 250cc will get a dual channel ABS. Both of the bikes are expected to get a rear disc.
