The Tigor EV comes in two variants namely XM and XT. The sedan derives its power from a 16.2kWh battery which has a peak power of 41.5 bhp at 4,500rpm and a max torque of 105Nm at 2,500rpm. The power is transmitted to the front wheels through a 3-phase, 72V AC induction motor. The maximum claimed range on a single charge is 142km.
Tata claims that the battery can be charged to 80% within 9 minutes when using a DC 15kW fast charger. However, Tata also says that the fast charger should only be used in situations of emergencies.
